Black Rebar

CSA Standard G30.18-M92(R2002) specifies five different grades of black rebar. Most commonly used are grades 400R (Regular) and 400W (Weldable). The W grades are intended for special applications where improved weldability or ductility is required. The grade numbers (400) indicate the minimum yield strength in MPa (megapascals).
