Team Salit got together some of our finest bowlers to take part in Big Brothers Big Sister’s “Bowl for Kids Sake.” The theme of the event was Super Heroes, and we had a few team members who were brave enough to dress up. Regardless of the outfit, we think anyone who came out to bowl in this event is a true super hero!
Salit had three teams take part, and together they raised a total of $1670 which goes directly towards mentoring programs in our community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a wide range of mentoring opportunities to meet the varied needs of volunteers, children & youth and their families.

Curling for Cancer

On February 20, 2016, our Salit Curlers ventured out on the ice and participated in the Rankin Big Orange – Curl for Cancer Cure! This is the fourth year that Salit has had employees participating in the event.
With some fun and friendly competition, the team raised $1200 to help fund Cancer Care in the Niagara Region. Congratulations to our Curlers on a job well done!
